Who are your clients?


Our clients include large enterprises, such as insurance carriers seeking to save money on roofing claims nationwide and homeowners needing roof repairs.


What does your product do?


For insurance carriers, our product focuses on reducing claim costs now and minimizing future claims by using solutions like impact-resistant shingles for roof repairs. This approach not only lowers immediate expenses but also helps mitigate long-term risks.


How much capital have you raised?


We’ve raised $28 million.


Was the company born from within or outside of the insurance industry?


The company was born outside the insurance industry.


What growth metrics have you accomplished over the last 12 months?


We’ve achieved 650 percent growth in the past 12 months.


Within your domain, what is the current challenge the industry is facing?


A significant challenge for large enterprises with nationwide operations is the highly regionalized nature of roofing. This creates difficulties in managing roofing operations and achieving a consistent experience across the country.


For example, managing roofing services across 50 states often requires hiring 50 separate teams to address regional nuances. We’ve simplified this process by building a network that feels seamless and nationwide to enterprises, while handling the complex regional details behind the scenes.


For one of our large enterprise partners, this approach saved them 1,000 jobs over 18 months and tens of millions of dollars. By consolidating management from 50 employees to 10, we streamline operations and drive cost efficiency.


How does Remi take a unique approach to providing value?


Remi is not a roofing company; we’re a software company that collaborates with roofers to help them succeed. Our goal is to improve the industry for both roofers and insurance carriers by removing the burdens each face.


This approach allows us to pay roofers fairly while also saving enterprises, like insurance carriers, significant amounts of money. By bridging the gap between technology and traditional roofing operations, we ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders.


What inspired the team to start the company?


One of our founders worked in senior sales leadership in the solar industry, where roofing was just as challenging as it is in insurance. The inefficiencies and pain points in roofing inspired us to start the company and address similar issues across industries.


Can you share any goals you have over the next 12 months?


Our primary goal is to build customizable, scalable solutions for each carrier we work with. We aim to create an API infrastructure that allows carriers to select from a menu of options tailored to their needs.


For example, a carrier might prioritize saving money on claims, reducing headcount for claims processing or other operational efficiencies. By providing flexible, carrier-specific solutions, we’re building a scalable system that meets diverse needs across the industry.
